Falkenstein International Junior Open / Preis der Jugendlichen

54-hole individual strokeplay tournament over 3 days (18 holes per day), held at Hamburger Golf-Club e.V. (In de Bargen 59, 22587 Hamburg). Open to amateur boys and girls born in 2005 or later, competing in age groups AK 14, AK 16, AK 18, and AK 21. HCPI limits: girls 26.4 or better across all age groups; boys 18.4 or better across all age groups. Players must be members of a German golf club or a foreign golf club affiliated with their national golf association. Maximum field of 100 players; one third of places reserved for girls; U21 limited to 9 players regardless of gender. Oversubscription handled by waiting list, ordered by handicap index (draw if equal), based on HCPI valid on the entry closing date. A separate 36-hole 'Nation' team ranking runs alongside (teams of 3, girls or boys, any age group mix; rounds 1 and 2 count; entered separately by email). Tees: Girls all age groups – Women red (5060m, CR 73.2, Slope 133, Par 71); Boys all age groups – Men yellow (5759m, CR 71.4, Slope 135, Par 71). Practice round available from 1pm on Monday 10 August 2026. Schedule: Tue 11 Aug – Round 1; Wed 12 Aug – Round 2 + Players Night BBQ; Thu 13 Aug – Round 3 + award ceremony. Entry deadline: Friday 3 July 2026 at 10:00am. Entries accepted online only. All players must also register by email (tenbruck@golfclub-falkenstein.de) by noon on Monday 10 August 2026. Entry fee (€219 for guests, €150 for junior members of Hamburger GC) must be paid by bank transfer within 14 days of the closing date confirmation email; non-payment cancels the right to participate. Registered players who withdraw are still liable for the entry fee. Fee includes starting fee, practice round, range balls, tournament shirt, snacks, BBQ on Tuesday afternoon/evening, and starting gifts. Livescoring available. WAGR points and DGV Youth Ranking points on offer. Tie-break for individual medals (gold/silver/bronze): play-off; if not resolved, matching scorecards over best score for final 36, 18, 9, 6, 3 holes or last hole in order; then draw. Caddies are prohibited. Distance measuring devices are permitted.

Prizes

Individual ranking: 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes awarded separately for boys and girls in each age group AK 14, AK 16, and AK 18; combined 1st, 2nd and 3rd for AK 21; overall 1st for boys and girls. Nation team ranking: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Prizes partially sponsored by Ping.
