The Compétition Afterwork is held at Golf de Mérignies (La Valutte course, holes 1–5 and 9) on Friday 28 August 2026, running from 17:00 to 19:30. It is a fun 6-hole competition ('score max sur 6 trous') open to all FFGolf licence holders regardless of membership at Mérignies Golf. Two categories are available: 'Série Expert' (all non-beginner golfers) and 'Série Bal des Débutants' (beginners, included in the beginner package). Entry for the Expert series costs €6, plus a green fee for non-subscribers. Prize-giving and a complimentary drink are offered from 18:30. Note: the optional tapas and live music evening available on other Afterwork dates does not take place on 28 August. Entries close the day before the competition at 18:00. Registration is via the online booking system at merignies.g.netgolf.fr.
