The 21st edition of the Opio Valbonne Classic by John Taylor is a 36-hole individual stableford competition played over two days across two courses: Golf d'Opio Valbonne and Golf de la Grande Bastide (Châteauneuf-de-Grasse). The competition is open to all amateur golfers. Playing handicaps above 32 are reduced to 32. Series are divided by gender: Men — 1st series index 0–15.4 (white tees), 2nd series index 15.5–54 (yellow tees); Women — 1st series index 0–18.4 (blue tees), 2nd series index 18.5–54 (red tees). Day 1 (Saturday 20 June): tee times from 8:00, staggered starts on both courses, order determined by index. Day 2 (Sunday 21 June): draw based on Day 1 results; mandatory briefing at 9:00 (absence results in disqualification); shotgun start at 9:30. Participation requirements: French players must hold a valid FFG 2026 licence and a medical certificate or validated health questionnaire; foreign players must have civil liability insurance covering the competition and a valid handicap certificate from their home club or federation. Registration is available online or in person at Golf de la Grande Bastide. The committee reserves the right to adjust series boundaries until entries close.
