The Kelso Open Mixed Greensomes takes place at Kelso Golf Club on Sunday 2 August 2026. The format is Mixed Greensomes Strokeplay (non-acceptable for handicap purposes). Both partners tee off on each hole; the better drive is selected, and players then alternate shots for the remainder of the hole. Men play from the White tees on the Kelso course, ladies from the Red tees. Entry costs £7.50 per person (same price for members and visitors). Entries close on 30 July 2026 at 18:00. Booking is available online via HowDidiDo. The event is sponsored by Mayfield Garden Centre. This is an open competition and visitors are allowed to enter.

Kelso Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 parkland course located in the Scottish Borders, set partially within Kelso Racecourse. The course features a generally flat layout that accommodates easy walking, making it accessible to players of all abilities. Originally designed by Ben Sayers, the course was redesigned by James Braid in 1930, with the mature 18-hole layout opening in 1980. The course is well-regarded locally for its high-quality turf maintenance, particularly its greens. Its parkland setting provides an attractive environment while presenting suitable challenges across all skill levels. Notable features include bunkers around the greens, with the 18th green being particularly prominent. The course benefits from its racecourse setting, offering distinctive views and terrain characteristics. The clubhouse provides views over the course and offers dining facilities with a range of beverages and seasonal snack menus, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both members and visitors.
