Designed by Keith Foster, the course features a challenging links-style layout with native grasses and wetlands integrated throughout wide-open fairways. The course was developed from former ranch land and rock piles, creating a distinctive character.
The setting is visually striking, with snow-capped Mount Werner framing many holes and the Flat Top Mountain Range providing a picturesque backdrop. The course is known for its natural wildlife habitat, frequently hosting elk, eagles, and blue herons. Haymaker Golf Course has earned Audubon International's highest distinction as a 'Signature Program' facility, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest environmental standards while preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The facility also offers additional amenities including a golf simulator called "The Fringe," a patio grill, golf instruction, and event hosting services for corporate and charity outings.
