Point Venture Golf Club is a 9-hole course located on a peninsula on the north shore of Lake Travis in central Texas. Designed in 1972 by three-time Masters Champion Jimmy Demaret, the course is carved from the distinctive Hill Country landscape of rocks and cedar trees. The layout features tight fairways and small, undulated greens that challenge skilled players while remaining accessible to beginners. Four of the nine holes offer scenic views of Lake Travis. The course is notably free of water hazards and bunkers, distinguishing it from typical golf layouts. Point Venture has received recognition from the Dallas Morning News as "one of the best 9-hole courses in Texas" and from the Austin Business Journal for being among the best golf courses in the Austin area. It has also been named a top 10 value course in the United States by Golf Advisor.
