Individual Stableford (net) qualifying competition on the 18-hole Ballesteros course, open to all golfers regardless of whether they hold a LeClub Golf card. Tee-off from 11:00. Green fee for the competition or LeClub Golf card (Classic or Gold) is required and is paid at the golf club. This event is one of a series of ranking rounds for the Somabay World Cup. To count scores towards the Somabay World Cup ranking, players must hold a valid 2026 FF Golf licence, a valid medical certificate, and a LeClub Golf Classic, Gold or Access card, and must purchase a Pass Ranking before 31 July 2026 (available online at https://www.somabay-world-cup.com/acces_golf.php). The ranking is established by region in three mixed series by handicap index: 1st series (index under 15), 2nd series (index 15–23.9), 3rd series (index 24–36); indexes above 36 are reduced to 36. The ranking is based on the sum of the 4 best net scores achieved on at least 2 different courses during the qualifying phase (1 March – 31 July 2026). Players qualifying from the ranking phase advance to regional finals in September 2026, with the top qualifiers progressing to a national final and potentially the international Somabay World Cup final.

Golf International de Pont Royal is an 18-hole championship course designed by legendary Severiano Ballesteros, located in the Luberon region of Provence between Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. The course has been named Best Course in France four consecutive years (2021-2024) by World Golf Awards and holds silver certification for biodiversity. The Ballesteros course features strategic tee positions and diverse shot requirements across velvet fairways and demanding greens integrated into the natural Provençal landscape. The terrain combines lakes, garrigues, and pine forests creating a spectacular setting. The course presents tactical and technical challenges designed to test golfers of all levels. Complementing the main layout are a 6-hole technical course called La Durance, designed for both advanced players seeking rigorous practice and beginners progressing their skills, and a 3-hole Pitch & Putt facility for short-game refinement. The facility includes a tiered practice range with views of the Luberon mountains. As a competition venue, Pont Royal hosted European Tour events from 1994 to 2023, establishing itself as a premier tournament destination in French golf.
