Porto Santo Golfe is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned Spanish architect Severiano Ballesteros, located in Madeira, Portugal. The course features Ballesteros's distinctive design philosophy with an equal distribution of six par-3 holes, six par-4 holes, and six par-5 holes—a layout that sets it apart from most conventional golf courses.
Set within natural landscape beauty, Porto Santo offers challenging golf with strategic bunkering throughout. Each hole is meticulously designed with careful course architecture, featuring well-positioned bunkers from the tee. The course is particularly noted for its signature "Amen Corner" comprising holes 13, 14, and 15, which demand precision and reward players with spectacular views. The finishing hole is a par-5 protected by a substantial lake and a signature S-shaped bunker complex, exemplifying Ballesteros's preference for memorable closing holes.
